Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- INDEF Senior Economist, Aviliani sees the importance of ensuring central and regional government policies regarding banking credit expansion in facing the year of politics and global turmoil in 2024.
Aviliani said that the absence of a clear policy direction would make 2024 for banking a bad year. However, bankers are still optimistic about banking resilience in facing internal and external turmoil.
Banks also hope that the government and public officials will maintain market calm and not cause panic through unnecessary statements, one of which is regarding the direction to buy up US Dollars.
