Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- Executive Director of the Indonesian Credit Card Association (AKKI), Steve Marta, is optimistic about the development of the credit card business in Indonesia in 2024.

Steve said that the evolution of payment systems that encourage ease of transactions is one of the pillars of the credit card business. Apart from that, the development of contactless credit card technology also supports customer interest in credit cards.

Collaboration between publishers, issuers, authorities and merchants also continues to be strengthened to ensure increased security of contactless card transactions.
