Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- The Board of Trustees of the All Indonesian Market Traders Association (APPSI), Ngadiran, positively welcomed the Government's steps to encourage traders in traditional markets to Go Digital.
However, Ngadiran said that currently traditional market traders are generally old and not very “familiar” with technological developments. Therefore, socialization and increasing access to digital infrastructure for market traders is needed.
Meanwhile, the Director of Celios Digital Economy, Nailul Huda, expressed the importance of government support regarding regulations, increasing literacy and infrastructure for traders to go digital.
