Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- Elected Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka said he would evaluate the free lunch and milk program which had been tested some time ago.

Gibran explained several things that his party would evaluate about the free lunch program, namely menu selection, distribution process and fulfillment of food logistics, not only that, the number of recipients of the lunch and milk program would also be evaluated by the government. This is done so that nutritional restoration assistance can be rightly targeted to people who need it.

Meanwhile, the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Agency, Bappenas, Suharso Monoarfa confirmed that the flagship program of the Elected Presidential candidate, Prabowo Subianto, was included in the government's 2025 work plan, one of the flagship programs being the provision of free lunches and milk in schools.

Suharso stated that the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas had spoken with the President-Elect's team to synchronize the asta aspiration that would be carried out. Suharso added that the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas is obliged to ensure that continuity from the previous government is maintained. Apart from that, it also ensures that the program that will be launched can be carried out.

Suharso explained that superior programs such as providing free lunches and milk are also included in the 2025 RKP, although the government's fiscal capacity to finance these programs remains to be seen.
