Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, Lu Kang, visited Prabowo Subianto's residence on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta, Sunday (18/2/2024). This visit was carried out after Prabowo excelled in quick count and the General Election Commission (KPU) provisional calculation regarding the results of the presidential election (pilpres).
On Prabowo's official Instagram, Ambassador Lu can be seen discussing with Prabowo. They were also accompanied by Bobby, who is Prabowo's pet cat at the house.
“Thank you Ambassador of the People's Republic of China HE Lu Kang @chinaembassy_indonesia for his congratulations and visit to me at Rumah Kertanegara, Jakarta,” wrote Prabowo on his official Instagram, @prabowo.

As is known, Indonesia held elections for the President and members of Parliament last Wednesday. So far the calculation is still being carried out by the General Election Commission (KPU).
As of Saturday, February 17 2024, at 19.30 WIB, official vote counting was still ongoing at the KPU with the total percentage of TPS that had been recorded at 66.61%. So far, the Prabowo-Gibran pair is ahead with 567.95% of the vote.
The Anies-Muhaimin pair was in second place with 24.48% of the vote. Behind Anies and Prabowo is the Ganjar-Mahfud MD pair with a gain of 17.57%.
