Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The price of gold bullion sold at PT Pegadaian has strengthened in trading today, Saturday (23/12/2023) or ahead of the long Christmas holiday. Pegadaian itself sells various types of gold, namely Antam gold, Antam Retro and UBS. The sizes are sold in various sizes, ranging from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.

In today's trading, the price of 1 gram of Antam gold was priced at IDR 1,157,000, an increase of IDR 7,000. This gold is available in sizes/units of 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.

The price of 1 gram of Antam Retro gold is IDR 1,131,000, the price has increased to IDR 9,000 per gram. Antam Retro is old packaged gold where the gold pieces and certificate are separate. Antam Retro Gold was last produced in 2018, and is available in units ranging from 0.5 grams to 100 grams.

Pegadaian also sells UBS gold issued by PT Untung Bersama Sejahtera.

Today's price is IDR 1,131,000 per gram, the price has risen to IDR 9,000 per gram. The complete range of UBS gold available ranges from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.

Pegadaian gold prices fly in line with global gold prices. The price of gold on the spot market in yesterday's trading, Friday (22/12/2023) closed at US$ 2,052.98 per troy ounce. The price strengthened 0.37%.

Prices in yesterday's trading were the highest in the last three weeks and close to an all-time high. Yesterday's closing position was also one of the highest ever recorded in gold history.

The price of gold has reached the All Time High (ATH) point at its highest level, namely US$ 2,070.90 on trading on December 1 2023, while the previous record occurred on August 6 2020, namely US$ 2,063.19 per troy ounce.
