Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) is again holding the 2023 Mandiri Young Entrepreneur (WMM) competition. This competition aims to create young entrepreneurs who are independent, creative and innovative.
WMM 2023 has entered the final round which will determine participants to become champions after they have gone through a strict selection process since September 2023. Of the thousands of participants who registered, WMM 2023 entered the Top 20 Business Existing Finalists stage and 4 Business Plan Finalists who successfully passed to the final stage.
In WMM 2023, Bank Mandiri will also hold an Entrepreneurship Exhibition which will take place on 18-20 January 2024 at Tunjungan Plaza 3, Surabaya. Here, the finalists showcase their best works that have gone through the guidance and development process from Bank Mandiri and its partners.
Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Teuku Ali Usman said, the Entrepreneurship Exhibition is part of WMM 2023 which will be a promotion and appreciation event for the finalists. Apart from that, this event is an opportunity for the public to see and support the quality and competitive products and work of local entrepreneurs directly.
“This year is the 16th year that this competition has been held. Bank Mandiri as one of the state-owned companies is proud to be able to consistently accommodate young entrepreneurs and be known directly by the public. We hope that, through WMM, we can make a positive contribution to national economic growth and public welfare,” said Ali, quoted Friday (19/1/2024).
Apart from exhibitions, the Entrepreneurship Exhibition also presents various events that visitors can enjoy. One of them is a talk show session which will be attended by young entrepreneurs who have been successful in their respective fields.
On that occasion, they will share knowledge and entrepreneurial experiences that are inspiring and motivating for prospective entrepreneurs. Some of the names who will attend this talk show include CEO of Compass Shoes Aji Handoko Purbo, Founder of MS Glow Maharani, and Founder & CEO of USS Network Sayed Muhammad.
Not to forget, this event was also enlivened by the presence of famous musicians. Some of them include Coldiac, Marion Jola, and Andra & The Backbone.
