Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol are confirmed to have canceled acting in the latest Korean drama entitled Delusions. This news emerged not long after Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol ended their lifelong love relationship.
Before the news of their dating was revealed, Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol were in the discussion stage with the casting director for Delusiona drama adapted from the webtoon with the same title.
This cancellation was conveyed directly by SHOWBOX as Delusion's production house. They announced the cancellation of acting offers to Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol.
SHOWBOX has contacted their respective agencies regarding the cancellation.
“It is true that previously the two artists had held casting discussions for Delusionbut that's not something that's been confirmed,” SHOWBOX told a local news outlet, as quoted from Korea JoongAng Daily on Tuesday (2/4/2024).
Han's agency, 9ato Entertainment, said that the two of them realized their roles as actors were more important, after confirming the end of the artist's romantic relationship.
Initially, on March 7, Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol were reportedly targeted to star in a webtoon adaptation project entitled Delusion.
Han So-hee was originally going to play the character Song Jung-hwa, a mysterious woman. Meanwhile, Ryu Jun-yeol plays Yoon Yi-ho, the artist who painted the woman's portrait.
Apart from that, Ryu is now reportedly filming a film Book of Revelation on Tuesday (2/4). This film was directed by Yeon Sang-ho, who is known for the films Train to Busan (2016) and The King of Pigs (2011), as well as the Netflix series Hellbound (2021-).
Han Soe-hee's next work is the second season of the Netflix historical thriller series Gyeongseong Creature which is scheduled for release this year.
