Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Researchers from Indonesia have succeeded in finding a new innovation that could be a lifesaver for anti-acne fighters. The latest innovation, called Acne ProBiome Technology, was presented exclusively for the first time in front of hundreds of doctors and researchers from all over the world at the International Microbiome Congress 2024 in Singapore some time ago.
Developed by LABORÉ, this technology was successfully introduced by 10 LABORÉ R&D, dr. Ayman Alatas (microbiology researcher) and Prof. Irma Bernadette Sitohang from the University of Indonesia at the symposium and Research Poster Exhibition session at the International Microbiome Congress Asia in Singapore.
Researchers say this technology is able to destroy acne down to its roots, or what is called a biofilm, which acts as a protector for acne-causing bacteria. By destroying this biofilm, acne will not reappear.
“If we only kill bacteria on the surface of the skin, there are still bacteria that live in their homes or what we usually call biofilms. LABORÉ's newest technology, namely Acne ProBiome, can destroy acne-causing bacteria from their homes so that acne will not come back again,” said Christianti, member LABORÉ R&D team.
The technology embodied in the latest Acne ProBiome Series product series has been tested on more than 1,500 women with acne-prone skin and is clinically proven to reduce various types of acne, from blackheads to inflamed acne.
By presenting a solution that truly makes acne stop coming back through the latest microbiome technology developed with global experts and formulated by dermatologists, it is hoped that this can provide real change for many people.
