Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno also attended the 2023 MSME Digital Hero Awarding Night which was held at The Telkom Hub, South Jakarta, Tuesday (19/12/2023). On that occasion, Sandiaga supported the initiative of the ten innovators in the 2023 MSME Digital Hero program, while also advising that in the future they would be able to collaborate with various parties.

“Friends, these 10 digital heroes have succeeded in scale-up and we have to facilitate more, because MSMEs, which will bring the nation up a class towards a Golden Indonesia 2045, in the future can also collaborate with various elements of the pentahelix,” he said.

Sandiaga also advised MSME players not to stop carrying out training, marketing and capital, which he believes are the keys to MSMEs being able to move up in class.

“If MSMEs have the ability to be digitalized through the MSME Digital Hero, more will advance to class,” he said.

The Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi said the same thing. He stated that digital transformation is an inevitability that cannot be avoided, including for MSMEs which are the economic strength of a country.

“Our studies with world-renowned consultants show that the agricultural sector in America and the Netherlands which uses digital technology can increase productivity by 30 percent. This shows that technology is important for increasing productivity,” said Budi Arie.
