Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT PLN (Persero) is offering a promo to add power at a special price through the 2023 End of Year Celebration, from 24 December to 31 January 2024. In this program, PLN customers can enjoy an added power promo for only IDR 271,023 for all electricity tariff categories up to power 5,500 volt amperes (VA).

PLN's Executive Vice President for Corporate Communications and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL), Gregorius Adi Trianto, explained that this program was held as a form of PLN's appreciation for loyal customers as well as a sweet gift for Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024.

“At the time of Christmas and New Year 2024, PLN wants to give a sweet gift to our loyal customers through a special promo to add power. This promo is expected to be able to meet people's electricity needs at lower prices,” said Gregorius in a written statement, Monday ( 12/25/2023).

In the 2023 End of Year Gelegar promo program, adding power from 900 VA to 5,500 VA only costs IDR 271,023. Through this promo, customers can enjoy special prices compared to normal prices which cost much more.

“For 450 VA customers who want to increase power to 5,500 VA, for example, without the promo you have to spend around IDR 4,893,450 in normal times, but with this promo, now you only need to pay IDR 271,023,” explained Gregorius.

This additional power promo applies to single-phase low voltage customers in all tariff categories. Another requirement is that customers purchase tokens of at least IDR 50 thousand or pay for electricity via the PLN Mobile application.

“The process is easy, customers only need to make electricity payment transactions or purchase tokens via the PLN Mobile application and then they will automatically get a voucher to claim. Then, carry out the process of adding power by entering the voucher code that has been claimed and is valid, and continue with the payment process. After “The payment is confirmed, then the local PLN unit will directly follow up on the proposed power addition process,” concluded Gregorius.
