This Indonesian conglomerate openly supports Ganjar-Mahfud News – 3 hours ago

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Ahead of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu), senior Indonesian businessman Sofjan Wanandi emphasized that he is increasingly determined to choose Ganjar-Mahfud as the leader of this country. Sofyan argued that as a businessman he needed certainty about the condition of this country and that Ganjar-Mahfud had a good track record.

According to him, he didn't want to discuss it anymore. This seasoned businessman admitted that he was tired of discussing so he just wanted to be certain. The choice fell on candidate pair number 3.

“What is the best for this country? Just do it! No need for it anymore. There's no time, what are the remaining 16 days to debate? Who can you change? You have to change yourself, you have to change for the future of this nation, for that, choose number three,” he said at the “All Out Ganjar Mahfud” event held by TOP GAN SMA Alumni, a combination of Kanisius, Pangudi Luhur, Tarakanita, Santa Ursula, St Theresia, Gonzaga and Loyola high schools in Jakarta, Sunday (28/1/2024) .

On that occasion, Sofjan also criticized the leadership of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Even though from the start of Joko Widodo's leadership with Jusuf Kalla, Sofjan fully supported him, now he thinks Jokowi has ignored the ideals of reform. Indications of fraud in the 2024 election are increasingly visible.

“This election is what worries me the most because the referee is also a player. How can we talk about all theories, what happened is exactly what makes no sense,” said Sofjan.

“Because of this, Jokowi also promised reform, but what is being done now is exactly the opposite. So what else is there to talk about about the future? What someone did in the past, from there we can determine. We think number three is better because “Their past really proves what they have done for this nation. What are their traces, what are their strengths and weaknesses,” said the man born in 1941.

Sofjan also said that amidst the current rapid flow of information, young people should be smarter in making their choices. Candidate candidate track records can be accessed through various media.

“You are smarter than us to determine what is best for you. I think that's all. Make it very simple! If you ask me about my experience of more than 50 years, I have participated in 10 elections. In fact, actively making who becomes president. This time “I feel my commitment to Top Gan (Ganjar-Mahfud),” he concluded.
