Viral Foreign Tourists Perform Obscene Rituals in Bali, Sandiaga Uno Opens His Voice


Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Recently Currently, the people of Bali and Indonesia have again been shocked by the indecent behavior of foreign nationals (WNA). This time, a video circulated of foreign tourists carrying out rituals with erotic and obscene nuances in Ubud, Gianyar, Bali.

Based on a combined video clip uploaded by the account @pichrich_ and reposted by social activist and politician from Bali, Ni Luh Djelantik via her personal Instagram account (@niluhdjelantik), the foreigners whose origins are unknown appear to be united in carrying out a series of obscene rituals which are thought to be located in villa in Ubud.

In the first video clip, a foreign man can be seen laughing while being surrounded and hugged by a number of women dressed in sexy clothes. The women were seen making erotic movements while groping the men's bodies.


Then in the second and third video clips, a number of women who were only wearing bikinis appeared to have mild seizures while sitting on the sofa with the men.

Then in the third clip, a group of male and female couples can be seen embracing en masse in a room. Not only did they hug, they also touched the opposite sex in front of them while sighing.

It doesn't stop there, the next video clip shows one of the ritual participants dancing while closing his eyes and holding a type of incense. Finally, there is a clip showing a woman being groped by several men and women.

In reposting the video, Ni Luh Djelantik expressed her anger at the actions of foreigners who did not respect the customs and norms on the Island of the Gods.

“CAPTURE AND EXPISE FOREIGN TRASH! Jeg ngae tired gumi Bali ni cing (Duh, make your Bali Earth dirty),” wrote Ni Luh Djelantik via caption (caption).

“@pichrich_ you have no respect for our island, culture and traditions. We don't need trash foreigners like you!” he continued, full of anger.

In the same caption, Ni Luh Djelantik asked the Bali Police, Gianyar Police, Ubud Police, and the Directorate General of Immigration to thoroughly investigate this obscene foreigner. Apart from that, he also asked for help from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Uno.

“Dear Minister, it's not tourism like this that we need. Please help us, bro,” wrote Ni Luh Djelantik, inserting a crying emoji.

“Immigration must be firm. Check @pichrich_'s permission. On what basis do you do this? Dare to say that everyday life in Ubud is like this? Dear netizens, let's get back to work. Useless people like this will destroy our homeland,” he concluded.

Police Investigate Ritual and Sandiaga Uno Opens Voice

Launching from detikbali, Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan said that the Gianyar Police Criminal Investigation Unit is currently investigating the incident. Jansen said that this ritual was carried out in a number of villas in Ubud and had the potential to be held without the permission of the villa owner.

According to Jansen, so far the police have received information that the person suspected of being the leader of the ritual is a foreigner from India, Satyarthiprateek. The Indian tourist is said to have left Indonesia on April 22 2024.

Meanwhile, Sandiaga Uno admitted that currently there is no latest information regarding the results of the investigation into the viral obscene cult video. According to him, the location where the ritual was carried out is still unknown.

“There are no cult videos yet updatesbut we have already reviewed that since there was OSS (Online Single Submission“This permit is indeed very fast for business activities,” said Sandi at the 'Weekly Brief with Sandi Uno' media meeting in Jakarta, Monday (13/5/2024).

“While there is no involvement from the local community, the Bendesa (traditional village leader in Bali) in Ubud does not know where this happened because it has not been traced until now,” he continued.

Sandiaga emphasized that investigations into this indecent case will continue. Apart from that, he also asked the public to participate in ensuring and maintaining the quality of tourism in Bali.

“Taksu Bali, we continue to ensure that Balinese customs guide tourism activities,” stressed Sandi.
