The four ministers are Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan and Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto.
Quoted from CNN Indonesia, the Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team supports the AMIN camp's request regarding this request. The head of the Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team, Todung Mulya Lubis, said that the testimony from the two ministries was important for the MK to present.
“We support what was conveyed by applicant one, as well as applicant one's proposal for the Minister of Social Affairs. We consider at least these two ministries to be very important, very vital,” said Todung in a hearing at the Constitutional Court, Thursday evening (28/3/2024 ).
Prabowo-Gibran's attorney, Otto Hasibuan, then quipped back at the Ganjar-Mahfud and Anies-Muhaimin legal team regarding summoning a number of ministers to the 2024 presidential election dispute hearing.
Otto said that his party could also ask the Constitutional Court to summon PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. However, he didn't do it.
“If he asks for a minister, we also ask for Mrs. Megawati to be summoned, do you want it or not? That's the problem, right,” said Otto after the hearing at the Constitutional Court Building, Jakarta, Thursday (28/3).
The Constitutional Court has set a maximum limit of 19 witnesses and experts to be submitted by the applicants. Until now, the list of names is not yet known. The names of new witnesses and experts will be revealed at trial.
